Random pic thread.

I had Yoko Geolander ATs on my 2000 Super Duty in 315 size and they were smooth as Obama at a fundraiser. I never had an issue with them.

On my 2002 SD I had Toyos and they were great too.

Flip side is BFG which I swore off after the last set.

Had to have my 37s on F350 trued and then balanced on the truck after several places tried. Smooth as butter after.

My 37" general atx's on the truck were balanced by 3 different shops. Finally somewhere in texas had a big truck tire shop put dynabeads in them. Still can feel them between 77-80mph but otherwise the only method that worked.

Its parked until thursday when I can get it back to the tire shop. Wife called me on her way home this am and I could hear the entire jeep rattling lol. They said they'll take care of it but we'll see.

May want to check and make sure they took the old weights off. Stick on weights get over looked something

Gonna check that and also the tie rod clamp bolt for clean marks to make sure they didn't jack with the alignment. They weren't happy that I declined the alignment since it was just done a few months ago and has always tracked straight with even tire wear. I'm an un-trusting sob.

I've been running soft beads in my former 33s, & now 35s. Better balance that the clamp on weights, & no worries if I slip a rim!
Had a Toyota Celica for 4 years, & put soft beads in 2 new tires. Smooth!!!

I ran them a time or two but dynamically balanced the wheels first with stick on weights, then popped the bead and poured in 2oz of beads.

You could feel them settle out when you changed speed. Tractor trailers use some kind of powder I believe.

I have no idea why these are so bad. No leftover weights, alignment wasn't touched, nothing.ill find out tomorrow at the tire shop I guess

One of the front isn’t round. Place in Selma called Massey’s Wheel Alignment has a big sign in the shop that reads “tires and wheels are not round”.

Had that set of 37 MTRs trued by them and also the tires on my Snapon truck. Burnice Massey told me “a tire is only as good as it’s thinnest place anyway”

I dunno man. It'll be death wobble then come to a stop. Hit highway speeds again and itll be fine. Nest time I stop and get up to speed it will be way out of balance again.

I spent last week camping near ash fork, AZ. It was my first time out west. Rented a jku in Phoenix. The scenery was incredible. Beautiful sunsets over picacho butte every night. We even got to see a starlink launch.

Bernice is THE go to guy for alignments and adjustments. It hurts the heart to watch virgin rubber being shaved off a brand new tire, but damn they run smooth as silk when they are true'd up.

QFT!

And should have said Bernice Parker, not Massey

We took a fire engine to Massey's one time for a shave, I thought the pile of rubber left behind was going to make the chief sick

Duane
Bet she was smooth after though!

More Harry Potter shit. We got up early to go to the wand ceremony. They only pick one kid to do it. Guess who got chosen?

It was me!!!! Yay!!!! J/k it was my kid. I've been using the wand all day to try and get my wife in the mood. I may have to resort to the old standby and that's none of your damn business.

Wonder if it didnt have enough beads in it. I had tires that had random vibration, turned out to need more weights to get it balanced right.

Maybe. It's completely weird. Smooth for a bit, come to a stop, get back up to speed and DW takes over. I'm going to have a great time going through every bolt making sure everything is tight and not trashed from 30 miles of tires bouncing off the road.
