Random pic thread.

Sorry but you shouldn't have used any power during peak time. Your service will be throttled to keep your consumption within the limits set by the CCP. Thanks and have a nice day.
They sent out an "inspector" and my power bill is fixed, but I haven't seen my family since that day. There was a note saying they were looking to get re-educated.

Got some 2x6s dropped off from the logs I took to the mill a couple weeks ago. Stack is about 8 wide and 16 tall. Plan is to turn these (plus more) into (i) a good tree house for my little dudes and (ii) a post frame shop for myself (when I finally get to it).

I would bet money it was exposed to my ex sister
-n-law naked.

I had a similar look when she was at our old house with her.... Wife.... And I walked in to an unlocked bathroom on her by accident. Shit shriveled and started cracking.

Damn... PTSD from those nightmares 😳

I would say equal. Each have their place. Will it ever replace a full size rig for me completely? Doubtful. I wouldn’t have a SxS to begin with if we didn’t use it so much around the farm. For me it’s a tool first. It is nice to load up and hit a handful of small ATV parks within 1.5 hours of either home or the farm and get some seat time in an undersized rig.

X2. As a guy that has both, I think they both have their place. The sxs's are great for trail riding, but try to do rock crawler shit in them and they start breaking. On the other hand, my rock crawler isn't super fun to trail ride in. On the bright side there are several places to day ride a sxs from the house, but not one for full sized rigs anymore.

FiTech installed. Ran a 3/8ths return line as per instructions which called for a bung in the tank. Of course I was at a full tank so makeshift hand drill and a sharp bit made it like butter. While I was at it I replaced the crappy plastic float with a brass one. After priming the sump she fired right up

EDIT: this should probably be in the "What did you do to your truck today?" thread..

High dollar chassis, sticky Maxxis tires, $$$ suspension, crappy driver. Same as when I'm in the Ranger.

Do you also drive the ranger with the expression of terror due to having consumed taco bell 30 min prior and it's another 14 miles till the next shitter?

since you had to drop and tap the tank anyway, do you wish you had went with an in tank or frame rail pump?

Any reason you didn't use the stock return line on the sending unit?

frame rail pumps are way too loud for my liking. The sump system is next to quiet.

I didn't go the in tank route because the AMC 20 gal poly tank and skid set-up just doesn't accept an in tank pump easily. Lots of modifications to it and the in tank pump to make it work correctly. Since I already spent the money on the tank set-up I had it didn't make sense to start over. Now if fuel injection was the plan from the beginning when I had the Jeep completely stripped down I probably would have gone aftermarket tank with pump.

FiTech asks for 3/8ths on both feed and return. I know we're only talking a 1/16th of an inch difference from the stock line but after speaking to their tech I decided to run a new line. Maybe it wasn't needed but at least if an issue comes up I know it isn't due to incorrect size lines.

EDIT: Also makes it easy that Inline Tube makes a pre-formed 3/8ths line for the passenger side of a Scrambler for V8 conversions. Since I already had one ran for feed I bought a 2nd and had plenty of room to run it alongside.
