That tree was on Conine Island. We had a permit to camp and hunt there. It was a beautiful place and lots of game. This was in the 80's and there was a long drought. You can see the water line on the trees about 5/6 ft. It was raining that day so I took the shotgun instead of my hand me down 1937 Savage 99 .300. I got in the tree and I could of laid out and slept in there maybe 2 could. I thought it would make a great Turkey "blind". The tree was otherwise healthy and I bet it's there todayThere is a hollow tree like that in the swamp behind my parents. I used to play in there like I was the boy from "my side of the mountain". I was always afraid a raccoon or possum was going to fall on my head in there
