About $1.50 a foot for just the wire, probably more if you could find someone to use them with the ends but I agree, that would be hard to find...

We all know that fire only looked that cool for 20 seconds
I was gonna invite you, but figured you'd say something like that, so I decided to pass :flipoff2:

Naw they are available...if you dig in like MC Master Carr.
4awg makes a great welding wip.
Remote battery mounting or light winch wiring comes to mind.

Was 24 degrees when I got started on the site. Little cooler getting gear together in the am.

How you like that feeder? And what is the power supply?
The fab job is clean, not my taste but clean.
The feeder is nice. Miller suitcase Al welder powered by our Trailblazer. It's the hot ticket for field welding aluminum for sure. It starts with a hot punch but smooths right out and we can run it as low as 17 or 18 with .035 4043 worry free.

Video looks cool. Be cooler if I knew wtf I was looking at 😅
Heater heating everything but me, lol! Welding on some Hardox 450 pucks to a tracked hoe bucket. Those are being brought up to temp on the hot plate. Rod oven keeping the hydrogen low in the 7018 rods. Little Ranger chugging wide open and me chuckling to myself having a ball.

Didn't get Santa finished in time for Christmas, but he is now ready for next year. Made this from some pallets I dug out of the dumpster at work. My wife did the painting.

My wife thinks I'm a tard, but I can't stand for water to be trapped under the bottles after I clean the shower.
