Random pic thread.

Another Walmart shopper! I forgot the elderly gentleman, told me; maybe 58? Had power steering added too!

Sometimes you get to actually catch. Haven't fished much in a long while. Me and @Blake_JK went to a neighbor's pond. He caught a couple too about the same.

On another note. Not impressed with Field and Stream braided line. Just about ready to call it a evening and I sent this plug to lord knows where when the line snapped under casting. Brand new first trip out with it and the rod. Christmas presents from Blake. I felt bad I couldn't find the lure. It being part of the present.

Yes! Those are bolts placed in the weld area to try and patch the blown out material.
Can't blame the previous fella for trying. I bet he was not well prepared for the call. It made it 25 more miles down Interstate 40. I got a leg up by choosing to do a scouting run last night. It was parked in a good spot so I could hatch a plan.

Big ol live oak near Shallotte.

My portable pulling post worked great til I ran out of gas....and the front tires came off the ground.

Gas and a trailer for ballast did the trick!

My first official fab project with the new company (and come to find out was my welding test) was a 94" wide litter bucket made to hook up to a bobcat. The farmer wanted to scoop up chicken crap and needed a custom width bucket to fit into his stalls. Little bit of simple CAD, little bit of fab, laying some welds down and painting. I made the cut judging by the compliments, and the fact that it works. Now I'm onto a 48 ton industrial steel building project. Booyah. The art world can f* off. I'm ready to build some stuff.
