Random pic thread.

Getting ready to jam in the shop.

I read about that one the other day. The guy says it should be under warranty, but Ram says it was overloaded.
I've seen a lot of these pics lately. I assumed it was all just the same numb skull getting repeated everywhere. Is this a real thing

Sounds like this guy was not only pushing his luck but didn't even look up the right specs.
"When I asked Pavel if Mopar cited any specific data in denying his claim, he stated, "No, they just went by the load capacity of my truck.""
 Sounds like some very specific data...

Also, the rear axle rating is probably 9750, and the backend of that truck already weighs a good 3500lbs. Add in a 6500lb camper and you're beyond axle limit. Plus the weight being so far back is probably equivalent to 2-3k pounds of tongue weight on a trailer, which would make no sense for a truck like that. When I was truck shopping, I skipped right past 350s/3500s because they generally had about 5k payload capacity. The 550s/5500s are north of 10k payload, and the frame is in excess of 12" tall, 3" wide and about 3/8" thick at that critical stress point.

dude makes it sounds like he did all his research ahead of time, but obviously did not.
I'm curious how the insurance agent responded.

Up at nearly 4000ft of elevation near Boone tonight. Sky is unbelievably clear. Of course pics don't do it justice, but that never stopped me from trying.

Mystery package arrived today. Weighed 32 pounds! One of those things I ordered and then forgot I ordered.
