Get a weight bench too. The combo is about the same as a dresser. But the treadmill is better for hanging jackets

Who are the electricians on here? When I undid the stove wiring the house had 3 wires the stove four. I put a plug on the stove to use the top but when we cut the burner on ot appears to be melting the plastic plugged into the burner. So the question is the 4 wires in a three wire plug. Each hot went to the outer prongs and the white/neutral and ground to the center. Should I delete the ground?

Also I would meter the existing outlet. Should be 2 legs of 110 and a neutral/ ground
