Random pic thread.

It’s called charcoal. In case you were wondering about the science of it lab nerd guy :flipoff2:
Officially its carbon impregnated fiber mr smartypants. If it was a real charcoal filter it would be black, and too expensive for my tastes. Just like @CasterTroy 's soul.

If you wanna play materials scientist... such short chain lengths of carbon against such a high ratio of other other stuff ain't gonna do shit for extra filtering over regular fiber paper. Which what I expect from a $6 filter.

Don't be a little bitch, little bitch

So black.....that...... I can't really say because folks get butthurt at a joke and turn me in to HR in this place

Noticed on Saturday I had a cow ready to pop one out. Ran up there this morning to drop some hay and check. He’s the first off of the new bull we got last year. Healthy little feller. Healthy momma. View attachment 436722

Had a buddy last night tell me day old calves were selling for $12 /lb and that that used to be something you almost couldn't give away. Is that what you're seeing?

We’ve never been in that market so I can’t say for sure. Prices are up across the board. Steers, bred heifers, pairs etc but so are all of our inputs so it’s a bit of a wash.

IIRC I heard the other day cows were bringing about $4/lbs @ the stock barn here.

You know those rolls get washed, right? Want some real data?

Honestly, I thought they were a loop and didn't realize they were open ended. So, I learned something today. Good, now I'm not so grossed out.

But seriously, the ones in the service stations I went to as a kid were nasty.
