Random pic thread.

Went fishing yesterday with my daughter by the Greenway trail in town.

Caught just this little monster of a fish.

Well after some digging I found the misfire, didn’t go looking for this actually tested as a shorted out injector and also a faulty fuel pump. The high pressure fuel pump was leaking into the engine which when got hot would vaporize the fuel and suck it into the intake via pcv system and make a rich condition. But hey direct injection is a beautiful thing right?

This truck belonged to my dad’s dad. I say that because he is my dad who stood up to be the man who raised me up. His father passed when he was 17 and they went to eat lunch that day. This is the last time they seen each other. Later on the truck was passed on to an uncle who eventually gave it to a cousin who sold it off. Years and years later I found it and bought it to surprise him one year: but now my grandma is going down hill and I wanna give her a ride in the truck. I plan to bust ass and do my grandma a solid

Wife and kids are out of town so perfect time to go check out a possible body swap donor for the family van. Someone rear ended it and bent the rear bumper and one of the rear doors got tweaked from the spare tire getting pushed, but I didn’t see any noticeable rust. 😍
