I still remember my 3rd grade math book had a picture of a road sign with the distance to a city in miles and km and being told we were converting to metric in the future.

I agree, metric is better, but I would hate to have to relearn all the temperatures and pressures I know for the equipment in the power plant.

I used to feel the same but since we do everything in metric at work I realized it really wasn't that bad to learn and now I can communicate w non-Americans.

$45 vevor hammer for the win relocating ground to closer to the box and I didn’t know how long the piece of rebar that was used as a grounding rod actually was. Good $18 peace of mind to replace it. Lots of rock in this ground so I was afraid I’d get hung up
