Random pic thread.

who knows. The way things are done these days the unlock is probably controlled by digital logic in the ECU so it uses it own bus wire instead of the simple and obvious way of it just being a dumb standalone unit

Pretty sure all the current keyless entry pads for Ford are actually just fancy cryptographic keyfobs... That's why they are Dealer Install now. Sadly though, you have to have FDRS (Ford Shop Software) to program them to the vehicle.

6g Broncos have had them from the start.

The one advantage to that is they can go anywhere, they don't have to go on the door, Alot of guys are putting them inside the Gas door...

Ford has sold the stick on keyless number pads for years.

No more door keypads on 25 and newer Super Dooty. Only dealer installed.

You'd have the wiring to deal with still. Unless they planned ahead and kept the harnesses the same to make the dealer install easier?

When we were looking at a Maverick they were basically a wireless key fob. $100 and stick them anywhere. "Lifetime" battery.

How do you say you've got time to kill without saying you've got time to kill, lol. Pretty cool though.

How much is one of those ingots worth?
Lots of things I should be doing-- just not.
The aluminum can aluminum isn't really worth much, but I can melt pistons and wheels and other stuff into actual machinable castings.

I just had a surplus of beer cans laying around and I didn't want the recycling guy thinking I was an alcoholic.

If a lifetime battery exists why tf wouldn’t they put one in the fob?

He's been working on his punting a lot. He's always HAD to, even though he'd rather just place kick.

He didn't like this Pic because of the drop. Then he realized that it was a short Punt for inside the 25 and supposed to be that way.

Even if he doesn't like punting, it's good for a kicker to be all-around. PAT's, FG's, kickoffs and punting. I know a guy who was REAL good in high school, then went on to be REAL good in college, but he specialized in FG's and PAT's. Was one of the top 3 kickers in the nation in college, but now has dropped into obscurity.

Even more these days. College teams are very stingy with their specialist positions.
