I talked to the guy who owned this and it really is a factory F250 dually.

^^ I parted a '79 F250 2wd once with all F150 front end components from factory that had some wierd useless single caliper front brakes fitted on wierd 8 lug pattern calipers. Absolutely nothing from the front end was F250 compatible. Never seen another like it and I've parted many. 8 lugs fooled me to buy it to begin with. I lost out big time on trying to part out that one... I called it an F-175.

Ford slapped anything and everything together from factory so this is very believable to me.
