My dad has macular degeneration and has to have a shot put in his eye/eyes ever so often.He says the hardest part is not blinkin as he sees them stickin the needle in his eye,and the loud poppin sound it makes.

makes you glad that they put you in la la land for cataract surgery. i wouldn't have been able to watch a blade coming at my eye without a blink, a twitch and some profanity.
