I hate to ruin a good pair of socks, I also wear boxers well after they have holes in them. I learned along time ago while surveying that boxers can clean up any untimely mess when you're a mile or more in the woods and can't outrun a severe shitstorm. If a creek/river is nearby that's even better.
 
I wish I thought (20 years ago) to take pics of some our blown engines while racing. Some were simply EPIC!
Oil pans with pounds of shavings, hole in blocks big enough to put 2 fists in. two vanishing piston rods with no holes in the block.

The most memorable was at the North Wilkesboro Speedway .... I was spotting from the top of the infield building wearing a radio headset .... Our car was leading a heat race and I had my back to the car when I heard the engine blow ...... it was so bad it destroyed the clutch and flywheel!

Ha ha ha my wife asked. " what is a moo moo" I said it is bed sheets or curtain one dresses their cow in.

That's a year and a half behind.......

I knew FDR made a lot of orders creating public works projects and different government divisions to spark employment and help end the depression. I also knew many failed and were abandoned for more ideas......but holy crap that's a lot of executive orders.....
