Sweet! , a friend had a .357 and used it to shoot deer back when they sold Black Talon. I shot it and it was very accurate at any distance.

I've only had this one about 2 years. My first hf rig was an even older 101EE (all analog) and I (stupidly) sold it to upgrade. I ran across this one and just so happens the guy wanted to trade for a radio I had.
Beast? Yeah, the manual lists it at 33 lbs. I also have a Icom 706 MKII that will do everything the 101 does and a whole lot more and it only weights 5 lbs.
They call them boat anchors for a reason!

I (my son now) still have the gas station set that opens into a carrying case.
My favorites were the ones that changed color w/ temp. My brother put a couple in the sun, to get them one color, then threw them in the freezer to change real quick... they warped lol.
