Totally relatable character.

You'll really want to sell it after you put 4 head in it that haven't fished but a couple of times, they'll work you like a slave.

This is a first for me. I've had people leave notes on my Jeep asking to buy, or to call if I ever want to sell, but I've never been tracked down before. This note was stuck in my storm door at the house.

What's a little unsettling is that the last name on the note isn't the last name of the fella I bought it from, so it must be a few owners ago. Crazy how he even found me given I try to be at least quasi anonymous on the interwebs.

The fact that it happens to be on a Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge envelope wonder if it's actually a dealership trolling you? Get you to trade the Scrambler in on something new so they could use it for advertising.

Hot sauce anyone??

Ass in the tub hot sauce has been a staple in my pantry for years. Ass kickin used to make hot microwavable popcorn as well that was really good...not sure if they still do. Problem I have with most hot stuff is they just go with heat and no flavor, main reason I stick with ghost pepper based stuff over reapers.

Finally got a couple of things dialed in on the car and got it dyno'd today. Not bad for a grocery getter that averages 30mpg with me driving like a teenager all the time. Also that was with intake air temps at 97 degrees, hot engine, almost straight off the highway, no methanol.

Inch lbs ?

Lmfao

I think it's funny that the engine can't rev high enough for the plots to intersect at 5252RPM. ;)

Must be a diesel, and in a car instead of a truck. That's far too high RPM for a truck. I've had cars with turbos that spool at higher engine RPM than that.

Ft-lbs. Says so on the right hand side. Not sure what is funny?

Because the numbers don't line up with a track car or a "grocery getter". Lol. And at those numbers I'm guessing not a gasser???

M just so used to seeing Dyno sheets of engines that are... different.

So my mind imagined a old school Honda with diesel in it with a leather belt for a crank bearing or two, and two turbos. And the numbers being inch pounds. Lol.

It was all in my head and just got thrown for a loop and had my personal little guffaw lol. No putdown intended.

Got pics?

You guys suck at reading comprehension.

I'm going out on a limb and guessing it's a BMW 335 diesel.

As RatLabGuy said, it's a BMW 335d. 3.0 liter diesel with sequential turbos. 340hp and 550ftlbs of torque, all stock components other than the tuning and some selective exhaust modifications.

Before this I had a normally aspirated Audi S4 with a v8 that spun to 7000rpms, all wheel drive, 6 speed manual. Bimmer is 4500rpm redline, rear wheel drive, slush box. Talk about 2 VERY different cars! But the 335d is faster, handles better, and waaaay better on fuel. The S4 felt faster.

You should take it to Conover and get the real numbers. These will likely make you feel better though. :driver:
:flipoff2:
Where in Conover provides "the real numbers"? On the same dyno it was 235hp and 370ft-lbs stock (rated 265/425 from the factory) so that seems about right.

Holy shit, that peak tq at 2200 is nice. Would have expected a little more out of the hp number, but without knowing the tune or work done...that hp trajectory is pretty nice too...I doubt there are many times you'll be spinning that thing past 4k anyway.

TruDyno Sports. They use a Mustang vs the Dynojet.

I havent really been in that scene in a while but last i saw all the dynojets were inertia based.
