Random pic thread.

@ the bight again 6/21/17 blues, spanish and fat alberts .....

we ran right over a small school of menhaden on our way, 1.5 miles from the cape, 500 yds off SB and fished it for over an hour, spanish and blues were caught, some menhaden were snagged. Then on to the bight and the fat alberts were frothing up glass minnows all over the hook for 2 hours. Fish pictures to follow.......

What is the "bight"? o_O

Move that hole in the water that you throw thousands of dollars into and maybe you could get to the garage to work on your Jeep

Not a dime spent yet lol except fuel money to go get it. Interior is shit but motor and boat are sound.

Bro...you ain't telling me nothing! This is from yesterday and I already have Tomorrows trip planned!

Sadly my son is much more excited about the boat than the jeep. So I see where this is going...

I ran into the same problem but bought a boat to keep the girl happy when I end up bringing a buggy home

When you crunch the numbers, it cost about the same for one day of boating as it does one day of wheeling. To sum it up, you'll be doing atleast one of those half as often as you'd like to be. :D

You've got a point. If either break down in the middle of the day, you've got to rely on SOMEONE to tow you ass back to base! At least water is FLAT

Someone still gotta tow you back to the truck paddling against the wind in a 20ft wide fiberglass boat you'd be doing good to stay in one spot

I always, always go up current when I can. Sometimes that requires driving 60+ miles south put in and then travel upstream to a section of water that's only 15 miles east or west of the house (as a crow flies). F*** calling someone to go pick your truck up, drive across multiple counties to pick you up, then dropping them off, etc etc... Never again.

I consume more beer at the lake, and crusing around all day takes uses the gas

My 12 gallon tank FULL gets around 80-90 mile range typically. This cannot be said for 12 beers.

Boat holds 32 gals and the 4.3 is decent on gas..... Gotta keep a big cooler on the boat

Marine 4.3? You got my attention.
My little Johnson 25 might be slow, and I drive slow anyways but it allows more time to drink between point A&B. I've never found room to complain

Ya I've got a WIDE 20' boat and it cruises at 20-30 tops out at 45 but the motor just acts like it's nothing to run full out all day
