Went up friday afternoon, parked at Table Rock, hiked Chimneys to Amphitheater to NC Wall. Great day for it. Drove back down, around the top of the gorge, and camped off of old 105 near Wiseman's View. It got pretty dang cold. 19 degrees when I woke up saturday morning. As usual, food and scenery were top notch. Somewhere under these mushrooms/onions/peppers is a new york strip...

Next door neighbor has had a jam up deer season so far. Mr Butler says he wanted some catfish filets to make a stew with as payment. He gave me 5lbs of ground, a whole ham and a tenderloin. I told him by early next week I would have him enough catfish fillets for quite a few stews and then some!
