Smelling the roses (and tulips) at Biltmore today with the family.

What kind of machine is that?

Yanmar? No clue - a friend was gracious enough to loan it to my dad.

One that looks really fun!

It is...except top speed is approx 3mph. I thought watching Gold Rush would instantly make me an expert on how to use it. Imagine my surprise when it took a little more coordination :wtf:

Yanmar is pretty good stuff. Had some work done 5 or so years ago & I talked my friend into leaving his Yanmar at my house for the weekend. It was "a little" bigger that yours - it had a full cab. You can work the hell out of those machines!

All I wanted to do was drill through the floor to run some coax cable through. I thought a 6" long Spade drill would be plenty, but I also knew there was a quadruple floor joist in the same area. When the drill didn't break through, I put a 2" quick change on there. When that wasn't enough, I stole the driver part of a 10in1 screwdriver. When it finally "broke through", it felt a little funny. Went under the house, and the answer was readily apparent...

I know a guy with 3' and 6' flex bits...just saying

0 F's given, he kept on rolling.

Was that at the broad river mud bog Saturday?

If so, fun fact you were 5 minutes from my house.
Missed it because of kids sports commitments, but they are great people watching events...
