When was the last time any kind of a video store had a grand opening?

Believe it or not, was taken last weekend in Lenoir, NC, right behind the Chickfila.

Indeed. Thats actually a Pixel 2 which is supposed to have a great camera. But 8x zoom at night through a small lens just doesn't get you much to work with. And I was too lazy to walk across the parking lot.

Growing up, there was a video store about a mile from my house that had a neon sign that read, "RENT A FLICK". Yes, when it was dark and you light up neon, the L and the I sort of merge. My mom always got a laugh out of that.... until I learned to read.

A rig I built in my backyard about ~9 years ago is still out killin it on the trails. I parted with it 6 years ago after wheeling it everywhere from durhamntown GA to Windrock. Chevy 44 front, van width 9 rear, d300, aw4/4.0 4.56. It worked extremely well, almost too well, even on bias 36s.

tilt the top of your screen away from you slightly and you'll see it like I did when I took the pics. the clouds were surreal.
look closely @ the bottom pic and see the top of the cooling tower @ sherron harris.
