I had a Air dog on my old 12 valve and I made its own bracket to get it up as high on the frame as I could but the particulate filter still sat below the frame rail by about 3”. It sucked but it was a great system. I’m about to do a FASS/ Air Dog on my 6.7 so I can’t eliminate the lift pump and the crappy plastic filter housing on the engine all in one shot.

Never been a fan of those aftermarket lift pumps for that very reason. It looks dumb and it would be my luck I'd tear the filter off and be stuck somewhere.

I have an ad165 on mine. I had to make a bracket because my amp steps dont allow it outside the frame rail. You can see the bottom of the bracket under the drivers door a little. But the filters are well above the bottom of the frame.

What’s getting me is she has a kid which means something mated with it....

I think the answer to that is the predator got wasted at dollar beer night at the local bar.

Between beer goggles, and infrared vision, and similar hair they connected?????

It's not about the location, it's about: hey look at me. Look at me and my modified fuel system.....cause race car that's why.

Nothing else to add, other than I understand they work pretty well.
When and if my stock junk fails I'll mount that stuff incognito.

Yeah when I had an 06 I was looking at getting one and had figured out how to get up pretty high, but then I sold the truck and bought a first gen.

At 20k miles i put my smarty jr on and my fuel pressure would drop to 0 at about half throttle with smarty on tow setting. The stock pump wouldn't support anything over stock power.
