Random pic thread.

I have a cousin who lives ON Fanny Brown rd. The whole area is exploding w growth and 540 is gonna cross 401 just north of Wake tech and @ FB about 1/4 mile south of 1010. 540 is paralleling 1010 1/4 to 1/2 mile to the south from Apex to 50/Benson rd. They are building 5 story apartments behind the Food Lion right now and Garner is pushing it's limits south of 1010. and to Clayton. I can't imagine how bad the traffic will be w all this roadwork going on for at least 5 years!

No freaking way! That area seemed so off the beaten path back in the day. Glad we headed back home in 2013.

Pic from my wife's ladies MTN bike ride group last night. Sorry @Jeff B, no rear shots of them in bike shorts.

I've driven the western 540 toll road from Rtp/I40 south to 55 in Holly Springs 5 times w my S-10, w the tailgate down and I have never received a bill in the mail. They apparently can't read my tag w the tailgate down.

They didn't say anything about the stands. Pshew. That was close. Thanks Gaston County

I'm glad they have that sign. If somebody is going to walk on the field and murder everybody they will definitely think twice when they know its illegal to have a gun out there:shaking:

There is a fine line between bacon on the grill (which is very, very good) and bacon flambe.

7 minutes, flip, 7 minutes, looked like it needed 1 more minute.....30 seconds into it, POOF!

This is the grease still burning off after pulling the charred bacon:

You in SC?

Aren’t they one of the states that clearly states the public places prohibiting by statute? And then only a private entity would have the discretion to also prohibit on private premises?

Maybe SC isn’t the state, but was sure one of the nearby states expressly included the public places prohibiting

No, Gaston county is in NC, and is the bastion of non-urban liberal government that is just west of Charlotte. It's a weird mix really. Lot of really poor areas, mixed in with shiny new stuff and fancy brick mcmansions.

You just described Taylorsville NC. Its called old money and the good ol boys club.

Also - apparently carrying out on the field during spontaneous games is cool too.

According to NC law, yes it is. Just cant carry on the field for scheduled athletic events. Luckily, a disc golf course is not listed as an "athletic field" for some odd reason :sniper::sniper::sniper: :smokin::smokin::smokin:
