The back story is that I was trenching for our underground dog fence and got too close.to the hives. They got the wife and flew into my hair for a warning. After that I had to suit up. Nothing like trenching in 90° weather in a full jacket and long pants.

This idiot. Yes those are 5 lug axles. The micro sized ratchet straps. And from behind those tires were leaning so bad I can’t believe the bearings hadn’t just shit the bed. We used to haul 8 on a 16'+2 trailer (maybe 18,+2) 5 lug with a 150 but we laid the ramps back for the extra 2 bales so it was a single layer.

Being right next to them they were 5x5 so say 1,000lbs. It has been wet done here lately so I’d say all of that times 8 bales. Low end is 8k. I wish I could have got a better pic of the tires leaning and that would have said it all.

Me and my dad are Ford guys, but for some reason little brother has nothing but Chevy/GMC on the farm. I know he got his 2500 and 3500 dirt cheap, but he has no excuse for the other two farm truck chevy’s. They’ve all got super low mileage but if they had hour meters they would be off the charts. Probably been idling for years.
