Most trucks like that have an Allison. Even in your Mountains, I can't imagine it being more than a 10sp. What you been doing in your Shop? :rolleyes:

I only have 4. Laptop, 2 monitors, and a TV.

Me too! Only took 3 years to realize there was a fuel shutoff solenoid that wasn't connected. Gotta make up for lost time! But ping me in a month or two and we can probably work something out.

Sorry to hear about that. The day after I bought this chipper was they day the guy in Gastonia got killed by one, so I hear about it all the time from my wife, and think about it every time I get near it.

Not sure if I told you, but I believe the guy that got killed, was with the last Company I hired to cut my trees! they had the new Mobark[or whatever] with the self feeder on it, & the safety stop bar. So, don't know How it happened.
 
Well Tanker AKA Jake,was using one that takes a 36" log.feeder,stop bar,winch. Hes not sure how it happened either. Left arm skin grafts head an back. Know I get to care of him for the rest of his FUBAR life. Married the grumpy old fart after the accident. Just be careful ,use with some one keep the kids away till your done.
 
I've seen worse. Honestly I've probably done worse.

I remember in the early to mid 90's before I even had a driver's license driving the old F700 converted dump trucks with topsoil falling out of the top sides or logs/ dug up stumps that had to be driven with the greatest of ease to keep the truck down on all 4 corners.
