Accuracy and simplicity. If you're trying to put 11 things over 7ft, its a hell of a lot easier to go every 0.7ft instead of 8-3/8" heavy, then 16-13/16" light, then 25-3/16" heavy, etc.Alright, this is new to me. What would you use 1/10 & 1/100 of an inch for?

And yet when they make a 10's base version, people would foolishly askif only there was a unit of measure that was more simplified.... maybe something with a 10's base.....

No. Look closely. At 12 inches, the one on top is 1 again. Then 1.1 etc.Is it not metric on top and inch on bottom?
Thanks for pointing out the irony in the joke. I was afraid people wouldn’t get it…And yet when they make a 10's base version, people would foolishly ask

I tried to buy it when he listed it for $1,000 then he relisted it for $1,500. Refuse to deal with people that raise the price after they list something. The one that got away…. Secured this jewel just to pass it on to @Curtis_H for his sons first ride… was looking forward to going old school and trashing another xj
