That is ABSOLUTELY some out of state horse shit, especially if it's in the rain! I don't know which state it came from but I wish it would go back! 😂

Well I grew up in Michigan and have traveled through all the 48. Lived in 8 and have only seent it religiously used in north and South Carolina so…..

Asked the wife who grew up in Co. and has about the same life travel pattern and she is agreed with the above.
 
I was driving to the truck plant in VA yesterday morning. The fog going up Fancy Gap was so thick cars would appear out of the fog when you were only 5 car lengths from them. I slowed down to about 40-50mph and had my flashers on to prevent some asshole from running over me from behind. Many other cars and trucks were doing the same thing.

That didn’t exist here until about 5-7 years ago. I’m sure it’s from Ohio. Or Central America. That’s where everybody around here is from now.

indeed... although starting in the 80s before it grew out of control.
Then Boone, then Winston / Lewisville for 9 years. Then off to Merry-Land where people do it here but only in really really hard rain or dense fog on 95

I'd run the heck outta that. Looks like its just the outer skin. Got plenty of sidewall to hold the air in. Maybe put some rubber cement on it if you're worried.

Came through it about 0600. Worst I've ever seen. They had the speed limit at 30mph.

I live close by and have seen it just as bad going up 89 to Galax and up Piper’s Gap Rd too. That air coming off the plateau and sinking does some weird stuff.
