I flushed some political promises out of a few pipes today.

Down here in Gaston county we usually try to keep the sewage underground. Y’all do it different up in your part of the woods.

Down here in Gaston county we usually try to keep the sewage underground. Y’all do it different up in your part of the woods.

That is actually the official method for flushing lpp lines. System should be flushed annually, yet some how this one made it 38 years before it completely plugged all 360' of line and was deadheading the pump. His lack of maintenance is going to cost him north of $20,000 but we got him going for the time being.

I've wanted to try that for a long time, but I chicken out because I'm not sure of the order to make the cuts in, No matter how I think about it, it always seems like the last few cuts are gonna be sketchy!

Notch first, then the "keel,"as I call it. Then set your hinges. Then cross your fingers and hope it works.
