Random pic thread.

Down here in Gaston county we usually try to keep the sewage underground. Y’all do it different up in your part of the woods. :D
That is actually the official method for flushing lpp lines. System should be flushed annually, yet some how this one made it 38 years before it completely plugged all 360' of line and was deadheading the pump. His lack of maintenance is going to cost him north of $20,000 but we got him going for the time being.

Solar electric fence seems to be working

Only have a week left at the day job, so as one does, I decided to restore an arbor press today. We bought it at an auction last week because our service guys needed something stronger. It’s a Famco Model 3-1/2R with 5 ton fixed lever action and 8 ton compound action. We washed and degreased it Monday, and I brought in my grinder with a wire wheel on it today just to knock some loose paint off. Next thing you know, it’s 3hrs later, and the thing is completely disassembled, fully wire wheeled, rough spots on the casting flap disc’d away, ready for paint, and the moving parts are in the parts washer. :D

Last weekend the wife and I took the Kia Soul and participated in a Road Rally from Pulasi VA to Marion PA.
We met at Bimmerworld in Pulaski, first stop was Headquarters Of The Dragon in Tazewell ... Then took a high spirited run down the Back of The Dragon.
Fun little ride!
We aill do more of these!

Glad you got it. I bid on several things and got nothing. I was working when it ended so I couldn't sit and watch and bid to win.

Some things went really low, but a lot went REALLY high. The CNC Deckel mills went for $110 each, which is stupid low. But the manual Bridgeport went for $7500, which is inexplicably high! That’s like $9400 after fees/tax. I’ve never seen a Bridgeport go for anywhere near that. I bid on about a dozen things, but some of those were opportunistic bids that I figured wouldn’t win. Most of the stuff I bid on went for the high end of market value, but not crazy. I’m more of a low end of market buyer haha.
