Random Thoughts.....

The unicorn of toyotas falls into my lap, and then never comes back after making a deal.

Locked, bone stock, low milage, clean, 97 fzj 80. Ugh..........

True, I guess a solid axle 4runner with a 22re is a true unicorn......

It's been a hot minute since I was all "Toyota" and can't remember if SR5 and the 22RET were options on the 85, if so that would be the ultimate unicorn in my eyes next to one of the early conversion trucks.

It may be possible but Unicorn would be an understatement. The turbo motor came out in late ‘85 but the actual acknowledged production in the 4Runner didn’t start until ‘86. But there’s alway wiggle room so..... like Aerosmith said, “Dream On”....

From what I have always been told, the turbo was never sold on a solid axle toyota in the states, but supposedly there are a few that made it to south america.

When you tell crew members you aren't going to feed into self induced drama of a poor Middle Manager, do your job, then get a call from HR..........it was a good night.

So what's the deal with dudes sagging their pants? I hate to sound like an old man here, but I just don't get it. I constantly see dudes with their pants below their ass WHILE wearing a belt. I also see them constantly pulling them up...doesn't that get old super quick?
Is it so you can wear pants that are 3-4 years old even though they don't technically fit anymore or what?

U2 .... only thing worse is KISS. But U2 was the Bomb to late 80s babies just like KISS is still roxk gods to the 70s drunks.
"The Edge" .... truly the worst famous guitar player ever. Nothing but chords and electronic gadgets.

At least with KISS Gene Simmons comes right out and says it’s not about talent. It was all about attitude, show and marketing. They certainly knew that part of the business.

Today is James Brown's birthday.
Everybody should feel a little extra soul in their step.

I bought a gallon of alkyd paint yesterday. Warning on the can says for spraying, do not thin with gasoline. I think if you were stupid enough to thin paint with gasoline, you'd deserve whatever happened. Sheesh. Hoomans.

If you fueled a steam locomotive like you did a nuclear power plant would it be the cleanest way to move freight?
I wonder if the Navy has ever considering doing something like that for submarines and aircraft carriers...

yea, but I would miss the sound of those big diesels lumbering down the rails :(
A quiet train locomotive moving down the tracks ..... that would almost be creepy .... Ol' Grope-N-Sniff Joe should use on for whistle stop tours!
