Was installing a new drain in the sink today. Replacing the “stick” that attaches to the plunger, reaching around the back side of the pipe, it took forever to get it seated correctly. So I used two iPhones face timing each other and used the camera to look into the hole and line everything up.

There’s gotta be a better way to do that. I could use a “dental mirror” but some times I need both hands.

Anyone use a WiFi camera and their phone in this manner?

I just use my parietal lobe. This is what it's there for.

Is the the part that lets you look at a picture of an object and then more or less know what the whole thing looks like?
Even though I don't do it anymore, when I worked on racecars we "borrowed" a lot of technology like that.
I could see a single sided picture of something and then fab it ...... that came in very handy!

I've used my inspection camera to get a bolt in on the thermostat on some late model Chrysler car.. because there's no way to get in there with your hand to feel it.
