How so? All FWD cars CV shafts must turn the same direction... Forward for forward and reverse for reverse. Maybe you mean the motor is on the opposite side of the car from most.
B and d series Honda engines spin counter clockwise. A few others also, but not all.
Most normal engines spin clockwise.
Theses engines in the car, while looking under hood at engine, the crank pulley is on right, and bellhousing and clutch is on the left.
Bc the transaxle and cvs, are behind the centerline of the engine, then engine spins counter clockwise to match the tire spinning forward.
Some other engines/transaxles are oriented the opposite way, spinning clockwise.
Typically with rear engine you must spin ring and pinion/third member/housing 180 degrees, left to right
To get forward as forward.
With reverse rotation Honda engines, oriented as rear engine, this mean you don't have to flip the axles to get proper movement.
If you put a ccw rotation Honda transaxle in the front, and didn't flip the 3rds or housings, you would have 3/4/5 reverse gears and only one forward gear.
This is why it's important to find out if the housings have been flipped or not,
As it limits your engine/trans/tcase transaxle choices based on proper orientation.
