Recommend a Good/Easy Read

I love reading, but these days I mostly do audiobooks. I’ll have to go check out the suggestions in this thread also - especially the outdoors-related ones.

Here’s a few I enjoyed:
The Eragon series
You are a Badass
The richest man in Babylon
The coming storm
Patricia Cornwell novels for murder mystery
The knights templar
 
For education and enjoyment I'd suggest Niccolò Machiavelli, Sun Tzu, biography of George Washington by Ron chernow, biography of grant by Ron chernow, Winston Churchill, Don Quixote, one second after by William R Forstchen and read up on Einstein's theory of relativity. For pure enjoyment I'd suggest james s a corey the expanse series, frank herbert dune, Stephen king the dark tower, john Jakes north and south, seveneves, the Martian, b v Larson swarm, orson scott card enders game. Most of these are long series which I prefer.

Eragon was a good series. I have to say I feel like we got screwed with the ending. It left me more questions than answers.
 
The ending was disappointing. Felt like it was just rushed to get it over with lol. I'm currently reading The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, which is quite good.
 
Brandon Sandersons The Way of Kings series is some of the best fantasy I’ve read in a long time.

Chixin Liu’s Three Body Problem is excellent science fiction.

Anything from Lois Bujolds Vorksigverse is a really fun read.

Finally the Red Rising series is an epic indulgence in space warfare

Red rising is my next scifi series.

Gonna give this one a peruse. Gift from a older church friend. A year or so it was the first edition in the Fox Fire books.
