Resouceful deer

Hung it yesterday, I saw the deer in her yard in the afternoon, but they did'nt come near our yard. I can't wait to yank on the cord and clang it when they come near, it's about 3' tall and makes alot of racket and dances around when I yank the cord I ran to the deckrail.

we need video!!! This reminds me of the ones posted out west and all the mule deer come off the hill to peoples back door step for piles of corn. It's like the hill comes alive with movement from way off in one of those posted.

The rowdy mob of troublemakers were milling around the backyard when the misses got home at 5:30 yesterday. She hollered at them and they coldly stared back at her with scorn and no concern at all in their blank stares. She went inside and put the groceries on the table and went back to ring the chimes, she pulled hard on the cord and they danced and sang, the deer were starteled. They jumped away from the dancing windchime and towards the middle of the yard where they stopped to resume feeding on the Ivey again so she warned them she'd release the hounds and they silently snickered. They finally left when she walked the dogs down the back stairs and into the yard like they always do, w a defiant flip of their tails and apparent joy of teasing and playing their game of "you can't catch" me w the dogs. I was hoping to show them the chimes before they jumped the fence but I don't think they're gonna work as I thought, maybe because they've heard them for years while they hung on the porch on windy days.:(:(

hey! I was thinking maybe shooting bottle rockets at them. It's been raining and such.No fear of fires getting started right now. Aimed rockets allways put us on the run.

YES.......the ones that scream and whistle before they explode would be ideal. I might even make a pipe pistol to aim them accurately w some safety glasses on :uzi:I'll have to make a trip to SC for some.
