I think this is the core issue.
This is all fun and games to you and you can't believe that NC has a cyber crimes headquarters. That the DMV pays people to patrol these types of forums constantly. Mean while folks have tons at stake. Professional folks that even their name being associated with some BS because of a website they own could endanger their career. I just get the feeling you live in your small world and dont get out much. Thats not a slam. I live in a town of 200 folks. Everyone in town knows me.

It is simply this, believe it or not this site is monitored by lots of folks including law enforcement. If you or anyone else post something stupid and illegal my friends come under scrutiny from law enforcement. They can be forced by law enforcement to turn over all kinds of information including IP and registration information about every member here, including you. Their life gets complicated because of the actions of others. If they allow people to conduct illegal business they could be charged with aiding and abetting the crime or criminal negligence. It can and has happened. The internet isnt anonymous. Every post you make can be traced right back to your house. Just an FYI there. Also selling a vehicle you do not have a clear title for is illegal. Parting it out is illegal. It is done all the time, sure. But it is still illegal. Just like speeding is done all the time and pot is smoked all the time, but it is still illegal. When caught there are consequences.

Please carry on and have fun. Post your crazy innovative builds I enjoy them. But please refrain any posts about illegal activity or the ban hammer will get dusted off and it will involve every IP you or any of your previous personas have posted under.

As a former LEO (and still very active with present LEO's sorta a brotherhood )the above is 100% true!!!! the whole parting out and selling, we call those "chop shops"

well i want to end this whole mumble jumble with this: I DO care very much about illegalness as since you guys don't know my History about me and how a Miraculous second chance i was given at life back when i racked up 21Felonies and 17 Misdemeanors which landed me 15years Prison sentence the God allowed with by His Grace to never endure and since then gave me a family and new life. I never meant and don't ever mean to say or put out anything illegal folks..and being corrected when i accidently might do so is very welcomed. I guess there are easier and less offensive ways to let someone know they are being/doing illegal work without calling them out in front of entire group/forum as i apparently "thought" was being. I care as much about my rep as you guys do and this sport and forums as well so please don't misjudge whatever chatter might have happened to me not caring about the legality of this forum and its members. Thank you and happy wheeling!
