Robbinsville

I was part of the uncovering of this and it held in Federal court. Ask me how I know!!

Sounds like an interesting story...

Even if he has no rights block access (I dunno the answer to that question), we could try and spread the word that the community doesn't like folks speeding through the area. There's no reason to make needlessly make enemies.

Thanks,
J

thats a great attitude. reading over this today (my last post included) i was worried this was headed the wrong way.

hey guys I live in Bryson City, and have rode little buff plenty of times with locals permission (for what ever that is worth). I can do some local networking. I know people in Robbinsville, plus some law enforcement that may be able to shed some light.

There was a thread started almost 2 weeks ago on pirate about this. It was deleted the following day and this was the reason......
Reason: Deleted at the request of the Southern Legal advocate while they work this issue until resolved

It looks like Southern is getting involved to help them out. I can see the landowner's point of view but I also hate to see it gone. Thats why we pay dues and go to SFWDA events to fund these projects. I dont know the answer but if we work with the landowners im sure this can be resolved. I dont even see how these people are finding the place. I couldnt find it again the way we went.

The land owner stated to me that the coverage in CRAWL mag. went entirely to far. He said that folks were there all the time now, instead of just occasionaly on the weekends.
He also stated that with the troubles at Tellico, Robbinsville seemed to be taking on all the overflow. They are making a good point. This is/was a great place to ride, but I have a feeling it is gone.
