Just grind the weld out where the ball welds to the tube, rotate to the desired spec and weld back up. Sounds simple, but not including a complete disassembly/reassembly, you would have a couple hours worth of cutting and welding, and probably that much time in measuring and re-measuring. I narrowed the long tube on a Dana 44, and just when I thought I had the C in the correct position, I quit and went home. Came back a few days later with a clear head and spent another half hour measuring the angles to make sure it was right. If I were attempting what you want done, I would do one side at a time. Il
