A fool and his money will soon part ways.

I know somebody that had an AEV Brute, eventually put a Hemi in it also. We had it at Big Creek a few years back

That place amazes me! Clearly they’re selling their Jeeps. But to whom? And why? The prices are ridiculous.

And they’re running 37 and 40s on stock axles. But bigger problem I have with all of it... big tires on stock gearing!!!

damn think i went broke just looking a their web page. How many jeeps could you build for 129k?

I stopped in up there a few years ago while traveling in the area. If I’m not mistaken, I was told all their customers were 300 miles or further away. There’s little to none sold in the area.

The company i work for has several clients who own jeeps from high country. They are all over 60, from Florida, and have never driven them down a dirt road.
I actually see their jeeps around town often, but have yet to see a single one that has been used off road.

I can't even imagine how FEW trails he could take that limo on. With a longer wheelbase than @Jason W. and @Debra 4 door rubi, and more than 2ft swinging PAST the rear axle, I mean....he HAD to be relegated to the perimeter access trails.

@josh$$ took some pics of something similar 2 weeks ago at a gas station. Clearly the thing had never seen a wet road, but had more invested than I paid for my first house.

I'm in the wrong business. They have 2014 and 2015 Rubicon JKUs for sale, $65k, all stock except a 4" lift, tires, wheels, LED lights, grill insert, and a "heat reduction" hood...

A $33k vehicle doubles price with $5k worth of accessories?

We did every single trail there that was open back then. This was 3-4 years ago though. It was tight as hell, but we did it anyways.

Saw a brute at the fancy mall recently, didn't realize they were that pricey. Kinda makes sense now.

And that is why stock axles and gearing don't matter at all for something that expensive. It doesn't matter how well it works when you flog it off road, because it's not going to be used off road.

It's probably the most expensive vehicle you can buy in terms of sophistication-per-dollar. Highest dollars spent for least amount of sophistication.

Their stuff gets sold to whoever has cash and wants to part with it. For a while they were getting listed in DuPont Registry, that's the clientele that buys them. They don't really focus on selling to the "hardcore wheeler". Although some do actually get wheeled. One of their full time employees is on here so maybe he will chime in. Another member was doing some of the body conversions as side work for a while. I know of at least 2 that are up in the NYC area because one of their guys delivered it and his GPS tried to take him right through the middle of Manhattan with a trailer in tow  when it needed to be delivered to the guys house on LI. A few months later I was up there and saw it parked on Central Park S then a few years later spotted another Rubitrux built JK parked across from the Javitz.

IRRC it only had a few hundred miles on it
