Running into NC4X4 Members outside of the Trails

Was wondering how many of you end up randomly running into/meeting other people that are on NC4X4 outside of the ones you wheel with on the trails, or see at the meet n greets? Perfect example was at work tonight this guy came through in a red 90's lifted Bronco. Was pretty cool, just happened to mention Uwharrie then this site and ends up he is on here all the time. Was wondering if I am not the only one meeting people that frequent this site in just random day to day areas?:beer:
 
Besides Braxton and David Minton, Ive never actually met anyone on these forums before...

i met getstucksome ^ about a month ago at the advance auto in raleigh, (i'm the guy who was on the blue dual sport dirtbike and you showed me your jeep) and have been so friggin busy with classes and shit i haven't been able to stop by and show off jeep
 
i met Rich last year at the demo derby at the fair (doubt he remembers me, lol) and i know of highrollintj through my cousin/roommate.
 
i met tons of folks at the ure 4x4 cross...and at the farm event. Does that count? Either way i seem to always remember their avatars, or a past post or something.
 
I met Tinman outside of here, His kid goes to the same school as my kid. He saw a NC4x4 sticker on the back of my wifes Nitro and joined the forum.
 
The closest i've been to meeting someone was a dude at the morganton theater with a "Carolina Trail blazers" t-shirt.

I recognized it from someones avatar.

Probably my son. He likes the movies. 5'11, 250 or so, short hair cut, glasses?? Arms like tree limbs and big ear-rings?

Keep in mind I work, I wheel, and I work on my junk, so, I run into a bunch of people from here.

Yep, I was going to mention that - (thanks for the help/offer of tools, etc btw)
Other than that, I see rigs with NC 4x4 stickers around here on the road every couple weeks, but I'm always in the work car, so don't bother to honk or wave...
 
I've met NCJeepin (Bruce), upnover (Skip), SkyHiK5 (Ron), MichaelT, y2kcrawler (Justin), buckshot500 (Paul), and Greg Slade...all really nice guys

I turned to a friend and i said "that guy is on that forum i always talk about!!" haha
 
I have met quite a few people on here, but most through wheeling or parts swapping.
 
I have met quite a few from here on the trails and seem to run into a few every now and again in the real world. I have formed some good friendships with quite a few here.
 
Ive met a lot of people from here through buying/selling crap.
