Running into NC4X4 Members outside of the Trails

I've had an NC4x4 sticker both new and old on my work van for the last 2 years, I average 400+ miles a week in Raleigh area, sometimes more. never had anyone notice.

of course there is other signage on the van as well, so it could be hard to spot, guess

Met Skihik5 a few weeks ago, saw Leslie and "Skip" last weekend, saw Dylan W too, but he was too busy putting the hard sell on an RC Rock Course particapant. Met Cyjcrwaler, stood directly infront of Jeff B's flatfender when he popped a stub shaft last weekend, had no clue who he was. Saw Big Juggy, GoGrannygo, as well.
Had dinner with Bfeller, Bruiser, Carman, Yager, Jph0913, Ridgerunner, and many others Sat night (good ribs John!!)

See CLRracer often, live about 5 miles from Awheelterd but have never met him, 10 miles from Blazeproc and a few others in the Clayton area. Cperry, hassled him last week at his shop. Might go bother PurpleTJchick next week when I'm in Durham.

have too much free time right now, I hate being out on medical.

I have met quite a few people on here, but most through wheeling or parts swapping.
Same here. I think I saw a few more last weekend at URE. Blue XJ, chopped with back hatch moved up and a rockwalker buggy that I have seen on the boards.

i have met john thomas, and he was an asshole
His dog is pretty cool though! I think Cletus is an excellent spotter.

Maybe we need to come up with some "NC4x4" stickers so we can put them on our rigs and recognize each other better?

If we rock that sticker, does that mean you will not pull us over?

I have met alot of people on this board over the past 10 months and haven't hardly missed a ride of some sort w/ the CTBs and been to the farm twice so I've probably met more than I realize. This board is part of the fun in wheeling for me. I met Caver Dave at the Farm this past weekend. He loaned me a tool and I was beating the axle on my jeep with a hammer and the hammer chipped and went in his neck and it bled like crazy. Sorry man how is the neck?

Wow..since everyone started naming names I sat back and started my ''who do I know''
from NC4X4 list.
I am PROUD to say that the list is way to big to type out. I would be willing to bet that I know at least 60 people on here...maybe more! I either wheel to much or surf this forum to much...maybe both!
Kind of makes me want to start a 'post up if you know ME thread' just to see.

Anyway, it was nice to meet yall.

I dont know you? Is your name Raaaalph?

Met quite a few people, most from either me needing help, (Kevin/Blckvoodoo with my ac, and Robert/Whitey with cutting down trees. Thanks both of you) or me helping people.
Some successfully, others, well, we tried. :D

And a few others from various times at UNF, devil's playground, buying/selling etc etc.

Met a board member once who needed some cj swaybar brackets. Hooked him up! Can't remember his name.......? 72jeepcruiser maybe?

I met this jackleg many years ago when he randomly posted up on the Toy forum on ORC (scabbing parts as usual). I think he clued me into this place and Triad 4wd and it all went downhill from there...

Met many of you fine folks on the trail, tons at 4x4Cross, then run into a few randomly in town (I think Joel caught me slipping out of town the day I moved to MD).

There was an excellent thread awhile ago w/ everybody's pics on it, just for this reason.

I remember the hardest working man at the UNF Cross and met him also:huggy:

I'm a hermit and don't get out much anymore. :(
