I wouldn't consider trading my yj for a tj, so much simpler and easier to do things. Stretch and lift requires nothing more than shock mounts and some other springs. If you have to have circle lights a cj front end can be swapped on which looks the best anyway. My yj on waggys will max out a 12in travel shock so it has tons of flex. If you want to go to long arm coils there are less brackets to cut off on a yj
 
Since you said you can't do fabwork, find a shop to spring it over, build a traction bar for the rear, install a SYE and spend the money to buy the proper hi-steer knuckle and tie-rod and bilstein 5100's.
