Sad to see it go...

According to most people, "yea that a horrible idea, but man i always wanted to try it." You never know till you try right?

acutally chuck from the bdb has been talking with mudd about making some of those integrated bump cans brackets for his air shocks. cool that somebody else thought it might work also. let me know how it works.

good idea, seems it would put that much more stress on the air shock mount though, definetly makes for easy mounting though... Cause when the bump stop bottoms out (if it does) that will transfer the stress to the shock instead of frame.

Buggy is looking really nice getting internet back may get me back working on mine...

well, went out tonight around 1:30 am and didnt some testing. So far so good! Hit a few table tops, got the rig in the air a little and it lands like a dream compared to before! No sliding on the shock and no distortion of the shock. Have to wait for long term use, but its working like a champ so far.

I think this should go in the Builds section.

Sam seeing your buggy build, as well as seeing Jims other buggies make me want to sell the jeep and build one. Yours looks really great man. I am interested in hearing how having the bumps mounted to the shocks works out in the long run.

Looks great man.

Thanks Mac. I appriciate the kind words and you need to give Jim a call. He can hook it up on the chassis and whatever else you need done

Here are a few pics of the new meats and a little tear down action for KOH. Im def not going to be the most prepared, but doing what i can with the funds i have right now.

I thought about dimpling the whole floor but I already almost cut my thumb off with the hole saw. I figured 21 was enough for one basket. I actually had 23 but had to cut 2 of them out :poop:
