Sad to see it go...

He's got stubby hysteer arms. The 8" throw on the ram was binding the U-joints so he limited the travel...

I guess...at least that's what i told him to do...who knows what he's doing...

thats your best quote ever dave and you have some good ones

Well sent off templates for window nets, added a roof, got my new trans in, blah blah blah. Went to Windrock this past weekend and beat on it fairly hard with no real breakage. Looking working on it next weekend, maybe some DPG action and then hopefully going to be ready for KOH. No pics yet :flipoff2:

Lol if we wear those, I'll kick my own ass and you know it.

However, if I don't come up with some $ I might be eating sand for survival....and shitting it?

Then can i use your bucket Will?

This should be on my doorstep in a few days. Hoping i am smart enough to work it.

Like a champ. Im actually really impressed with how well they have been working. So far they have taken abuse from the hardest wheeling i have done in a long time. I will be beating them again at harlan this weekend.

Thought yall might like this pic...I know it in the KOH thread but i dig it.

damn, that pic really doesn't do justice to how cool that really was!
Gimmie a call about this weekend

Had the front end apart because of a toasted ring gear and figured i should plate my knuckles. Also found a twisted as hell inner long side shaft...How could that have happened? :shaking:

BTW, most of the root passes were done with nickle rod to help weld to the cast better. Then did a cover pass with a mig. Should hold up i think.

I just need to call up papa smirf now i guess.

After plating the knuckles we took a trip to PA to run the RCQ to qualify for the 2010 King of the hammers. Unfortunatly i didnt have problems with the knuckles but with the high steer studs. After running 7 miles on a flat tire and hitting speeds in excess of 50 mph (tire off the inside of the rim  ) the rim finally caught a stump and broke the 4 high steer arm studs.

I now replaced the studs with ARP units and added this brace to both sides hoping to deter this problem frome ever happening again.
