Picked up a hard top from a buddy up north for dirt cheap and finally got around to fixing it. Anyone have tips on fiberglass repair?

It's not just fiber glass it has a plastic blend. Use boat repair epoxy they sell it at lowes in the paint section with glue. Apply let dry and sand. Worked great on my lj hard top.

Quite a few!

Last February I wheeled rausch creek and blew the clutch apart.

Last march the exhaust manifold broke in half on my way from home from school and the excess heat melted the wiring harness which caused the #4 injector to stay open. So instead of fixing it I bought a blown up 2.5l xj and swapped the yj drivetrain into it so I can use it as a more comfortable and reliable daily driver. I bought a 4.0 and yj wiring harness from a donor 95 yj from @Blaze and started swapping it in this fall.

The motor mounts are moved and the engine is bolted in.

That is where it sits for now. I'm full time at ECU currently so all my time and money is devoted to school for the foreseeable future.

I am strongly considering selling it as it sits so if anyone is interested PM me.

Are you living in Greenville or commuting?

Welp I should probably update this as some progress has heen made. The engine is properly bolted in and I bought an ax15 off another CNC member. Put a clutch and flywheel in it and bolted it up. I have the engine all wired up and everything powers up properly after chasing some loose connectors in the harness.

I bought a 23 spline 231 off another CNC member with a nice SYE already installed but I have yet to put it in. I need to install the tcase, extend the fuel lines, add fluids and it should be ready for a start attempt.

The engine is about an inch farther back than stock so the water pump clears my electric fan. The bad news is this means the trans is all up into the tunnel and I won't be able to keep my super sexy flat belly without cutting the whole tunnel out so the bellhousing clears. For now I decided to run the factory trans mount in lieu of a crossmember and use some 1" spacers to drop the skid down so everything is kosher. I'll have to redo my engine skid as well. I'm bummed, but I also don't mind it, since the old engine/trans combo didn't really clear either and caused all kinds of rubbing and vibrations in the cabin. I'm ok with losing an inch of belly height if it means a more comfortable ride.

I actually made a checklist this time too :D

Do you have a body lift yet? I thought that was a normal thing to have when using a flat belly skid plate?
