The TJs have a pretty nice battery hold-down setup with a bar that goes across the top of the battery and two J-hooks (one each side) that hold the battery down to the base. However, once mine was tight enough not to be able to shift around, the J-hooks had also deformed the battery tray from the upward force.

It doesn't hurt that the battery tray is a bit old and rusty... but for $35 or whatever that Brad charges, I'm going to look into how I would install his battery box. Seems like a solid alternative, the only question is whether or not there is something sufficiently stout that it can be welded to.

Yeah... the spot where this goes on my 4Runner is in bad shape rust-wise. A nice box dosn't do much good it it moves around with the battery.

I take it AGM is similar to a red or yellow top ? Sorry for the lack of knowledge, I never think much about battery's
