Septic Truck driver needed in Triad area

Wow there are alot of shitologists on here.

I have been In the buisness for 12 years now, and I learn new stuff all the time.

I have a customer that calls me every other year with a backed up tank due to the real comfortable TP,
It can be used if you get your tank pumped a little more often than most. But I recommend to home owners is the John Wayne TP, or pump the tank every 2 years.

We start our unexperienced, trainable drivers out at $12 an hour

No hockey expert here. I just made a living building molds and learning everything septic for several years. I can honestly say I honed a great many fabricating, and employee management skills in that shop. Another board member who I want call out would be the expert. His father owns that business and now he makes a living engineering and designing very large waste water treatment plants. Now he would be a superior shitologist.;)

So Im good with my "slightly better than John Wayne" TP..... Anyone know a reputable poop pumper in the S Charlotte area. I didnt know about the 3-5 year pump rule. We just bought our house and I dont knoe when it was pumped last.

Yea I have always used angel soft and I have never had a problem, I pump my tank every 5 years too.....or when ever i feel like it lol

I believe Stanley Environmental solutions is a reputable company down there, But anybody in the Triad better call Carolina Septic!

The dumbass who built our house put the septic tank and drain field in the front yard...house is on a major grade back yard would have flowedd down hill...as a result I have a pump system where the shit breaks down and then is pumped up hill to the road where the drain field leesches back down hill towards the house...during periods of drought you can tell exactly where those drain fields are.

The only positive to this system is if I ever have to have it pumped, there wont be any digging, I have what looks to be a well cover in the front yard, under it thre is an access port that leads right to the poo hole.

House is now 8 years old. Never been pumped never dumped any Rid-X or similar...wonder if I should.

That their well cover was being pushed as standard issue in NC, seems our legislators feel every tank should incorporate a riser. Plastic tanks and risers were also being pushed. What ever the lid for those are made of it needs to be damn heavy, or well locked. Their has been several documented cases of small curious children and a few adults opening those up for a peak. The poisonous gases overwhelms them and they fall in and drown!

Mine is Concrete and heavy enough no small kid is going to lift it.
Plus my hole isnt large enough for a full grown me to fall in. Plus it would be a bad fall..its a solid 12' to "water" level...

If your system was put in legally then the contractor who installed it did not get to choose where your system went, The local health dept told the contractor where to put it.

And the state "recommends" having it pumped every 3-5 years depending on how many people live in the house

I had transou on speed dial for a while there, but I'll keep Carolina in mind! Is there an NC4X4 asshole discount?

Naw unfortunately we dont offer and asshole discounts......Our prices are cheap enough anyways:flipoff2:

The Rule for the riser is if the septic tank is deeper than 6 inches in the ground the lid has to be brought 6inches above the surface.

Rural area.
5+ acres.

In my past experience you do have to have the location approved but you can ask for placement....anywhere. Like the back yard on the 4% grade that wouldnt have needed a fawking pump.

I have seen some cases where the front yard has good dirt and the back yard has bad dirt, and the homeowner didnt want it pumped so he requested the back yard and we had to put in 2 foot of clean sand and 2 foot of gravel. the system ended up costing $10,000 all because they didnt want a pump system that I quoted for $5100 for the front yard.

So you are right that you can request moving to opposite yard as long as set backs will allow, but in some cases it can cost more

^^^If you are talking a Sand Filter Septic System with a discharge pipe??? I can't imagine any other way for your described system to function in poor soil?

Although still legal in most other states, every "permitted" sand filter in the state of NC has been handed to (grabbed from being a better term) NCDENR - DWQ. And they are no longer an acceptable practice in NC, legally. Nobody has been able to permit a new one in like 10 years now, legally. At least every health department in the state has been ordered not to permit them any more. And new red tape is being introduced every single year for existing ones to stay legal. As of last year a "de-chlorinator" has been added in front of the holding tank in front of the chlorinator for the up-to-date state standard detail which now must be located 100 foot from a property line from the final discharge point. Along with an annual fee and water sample test. And if discharge quality is not met, a recirculation pump must be added and additional annual field inspections. I have several references and the detail in pdf format. Or just ask your local Health Dept.

But since most SF's were built for the sole purpose of a County Health Department / Municipality to make money from an unsuitable soiled piece of property, the documentations of all of them I have seen are rather sketchy and usually located with a "vicinity map" using old landmarks that don't even exist anymore. Plus USPS done away with all the old "Route" numbers in favor of a "Postal box number" in the midst as well. But there is literally thousands of SF's in NC with only maybe half of them officially located by DWQ today. And information is very hard to come by on the internet for NCDENR / DWQ is entirely hush-hush right now trying to lure in the remainder of undocumented SF's.

As a matter... If anyone on here has a Sand Filter Septic System and not really up to wanting to throw thousands at it to upgrade to today's standards, do yourself a favor and don't mention you have one to anyone on here more less to anyone related to the NC government system. And NCDENR don't f-ck around when you are dealing with them basteds either! I deal with them daily. But like everything else, what they don't know will never hurt them.

No I am not talking about a sand filter system. I have had atleast 3 repair permits come across my desk last month that the Forsyth county dept of environmental health has instructed to put atleast 2 foot of clean sand and then gravel. So I know that filling a trench or bed system with sand is an option for local HD's

But I agree with you urging anybody who has a Sand filter system keeping it to themselves
