Serious offroaders only!! Lol

The whole concept is stupid. People that buy those vehicles don't want to take them offroad. Maybe they live in a snowy climate and want to get home. That's it.

I've always wanted to hit that trail in a stock Sammi on decent ATs or an XJ. Watching him tear up that semi-slick hill was killing me! Spinning tires and holding the brakes while sliding down? What happened to Tread Lightly? Where's the hippies in Assville screaming about this?

Just proof that well dressed, expensive car driving douches that get their rocks off making poor peoples life hell can do whatever they want.

3,000 or so acres? That's doubtful. Or, a complete waste of land.
You want to really prove the value of your mall-crawling LR vehicles? Open that shit up to anybody in their own non-LR vehicles and let them go head to head.
(see Mark's post above about stock Sammie or XJ)

It's all Biltmore property and is basically a donut hole in the center of asheville. The only roads that go through the property are I-40 and I-26. It's a PITA to go across town because of having to go around.

I was in there one day and parked next to one of the LRs and the which had never been unspooled. Yahoo must have slipped them some $$ to get them to actually plug it in.

Came here to post also, This only encourages the douchebag types into places where they:
  1. wear their welcome out very quickly
  2. think that more gagets will save thier *ss = "BLING"
  3. block trails when they get over thier head and the gagets dont work
I know everyone needs to start somewhere but crap like this only misleads the unfortunate souls who can't think ahead.

I should take this course.

thats some seriously gay wheeling.... I'm just saying when he said " no vehicle could have made it" I almost spit my coffee out.

LOL Looks like History channel has a new show...... "Asheville Offroad Warriors" - The Forrest has never seen so much douchebaggery.....
They'll make a reality TV show about any damn thing.

It's been years since I've been wheeling so I may be rusty but why did they hook the winch to a snatch block on the tree in front of them and then to a tree off to the side? Why not just run it back to the vehicle if they thought they needed more pulling power?
