Serious offroaders only!! Lol

And am I the only one that would like to see that redone with the stig behind the wheel?

It's been years since I've been wheeling so I may be rusty but why did they hook the winch to a snatch block on the tree in front of them and then to a tree off to the side? Why not just run it back to the vehicle if they thought they needed more pulling power?

IMO they did it to cause the least amount of damage to the trees. And what do land rovers weigh? 7,000lbs? Plus everyone likes to use the new toys that have never been pulled out of the box.

Did anyone else notice they wrapped the winch cable around the trees? They strapped the snatch block, but I'm pretty sure the other end was wrapped around the tree. Same with the pull from the mud hole.

Not all of us LR owners are yuppies. That being said, I'm pretty sure that is exactly the type that the LR Experience at Biltmore is designed for.

agreed, but if you take that Landrover out there, with Street tires, dressed like they were... ya, you're a douchebag yuppie.

that's because you'd need a D-ring or other attachment point. I only saw Plastic bumpers.

I'm in the minority but I'm glad to see anything being done that gets more people wanting trails.
If that means creating an "upscale" version to draw in people with more money to waste than me so be it whether it's the "real" way to off-road or not.

thats some seriously gay wheeling.... I'm just saying when he said " no vehicle could have made it" I almost spit my coffee out.

Well he did say FACTORY vehicle, so that list is pretty short.

I thought about doing this when we went to Biltmore but the price tag was ridiculous but and I'm pretty sure the "when in doubt throttle out" method I use in my RC would not go over well. And I'd probably call their "experts" idiots withing the first 5 minutes.
