Shop heat

My next project for heat in the shop

My dogs will chew E V E R Y T H I N G they can get their teet on. One of these fawkers keeps knawing on the aluminum downspout on the corner of my house. The chain link fence around the back yard is mangled in various places from them pulling on it.

Incorrect. He would chew it until the GFCI trips and then continue chewing it. Then I would spend the next 2 hours picking all the pieces up over 1/3 of an acre. I dont know how many truck parts they have drug out of my shop until I limited their access to a small part of the shop.

Cover the blanket with a steel plate
 
Thier area has pretty much shrunk to being underneath a workbench. I built a bench over the doggy door. They have a 6'Lx2'Wx3'H area inside. 3'x2' has a low divider that holds a bale of cedar shavings. They have a small gate leading to the rest of the shop and a vent on the other end to allow air circulation. The doggy door is on the opposite end from the bed area, closest to the gate to the rest of the shop. It is basically a huge dog house inside the shop.
 
Thought about doing something like that in my garage. Ours come in at night, they have a spot attached to the laundry room (old bathroom) that we call the dogs room, but we leave them out when we're gonna be out of town. I'd like to have them a place to shelter in case it rained. They just get under the deck for now.


Btw... What kind of dogs do you have lol by the sounds of it sounds like a pair of sandlot beast!
 
The are muts. Mostly lab, but they look like they have some setter in them. Brother and sister rescues from animal control. Great dogs, just chew on everything. They are still pups though, around 1.5 years old.

Have you got them deer antlers or water buffalo horns. My dog chewed everything up I got him them and he hasn't messed with anything else
 
Shoot the dogs.
