Well, I had planned on Hilton Head but thanks a lot Mathew. Anyone got any ideas for a long weekend vacation? It'll be and the Mrs and a 6yo and 6mo.
I live 20 minutes from Asheville. Not sure where you are in NC but Asheville is really nice this time of year, Boone too.

That's too touristy.Maggie Valley. Free admission to Ghost Town.
He can fish in my pond to. Or take a nice dip in the pigeon lolThat's too touristy.
Go to Clyde, grab a 5 star meal at Pioneer and walk around Old Grouch's joint.
you must not know what I do for a living...Best swimming is below the mill in the pigeon. Good fishing there also you can catch your limit of corn eyed brown trout.
I considered this.Chattanooga TN ftw.
Rock City, Ruby Falls and the aquarium.
Then bring me back a growler of Southern Flyer from Big River Brewery.
No, seriously bring me back a growler.
yes. Hershey Park is a fun theme park, although the kids are too small to enjoy 80% of the rides.is the Hershey factory still doing tours in Pennsylvania?
Gotcha, it's been 23ish years since I was there. I was little enough that the "tunnel into the water" on the way there was a big anticipation for me. Had never seen anything like it before. My Mom and Grandpa trying to explain that the whole road went under water and I asked if the seals on the vans windows and doors were still good enough to keep the water out. hahayes. GWL is booked up. Nothing available.Sliding rock isn't far and the water is nice and warm. Also a great opportunity to wear your crocs.
You could always come down the mtn, stay at the great wolf lodge, catch a football game, and hang out with the hipsters drinking some malted beverages
@McCracken knows the Hershey Highway well. One day, maybe just maybe, he'll get a chance to drive it for a change.
