Short vacation ideas?

Atlanta has some nice stuff to do. Aquarium and the Coke museum is a day and they are right next to each other.

How about a nice weekend in East Tennessee, spend a day riding around shady valley then check out the blue hole in Elizabethton , stop by creekers bbq have a good meal you could leave there and stay around blowing rock one night just relax take it easy

Go to Cade's cove. Go watch for some bears. That baby don't do nothing but poop sleep and puke so he'll like it. Then go stay at the grey wolf lodge or wherever it is that has the In door park.

On another note we were planning on going to the coast this weekend to... not happening

Best swimming is below the mill in the pigeon. Good fishing there also you can catch your limit of corn eyed brown trout.
you must not know what I do for a living...

Chattanooga TN ftw.
Rock City, Ruby Falls and the aquarium.
Then bring me back a growler of Southern Flyer from Big River Brewery.
No, seriously bring me back a growler.
I considered this.

Sliding rock isn't far and the water is nice and warm. Also a great opportunity to wear your crocs.

You could always come down the mtn, stay at the great wolf lodge, catch a football game, and hang out with the hipsters drinking some malted beverages

yes. Hershey Park is a fun theme park, although the kids are too small to enjoy 80% of the rides.
Gotcha, it's been 23ish years since I was there. I was little enough that the "tunnel into the water" on the way there was a big anticipation for me. Had never seen anything like it before. My Mom and Grandpa trying to explain that the whole road went under water and I asked if the seals on the vans windows and doors were still good enough to keep the water out. haha

GWL is booked up. Nothing available.

@McCracken knows the Hershey Highway well. One day, maybe just maybe, he'll get a chance to drive it for a change.
