single track mtb trails

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, I don't ride (although my fat ass probably should) but there are supposed to be some nice MTB trails down here in River Walk on the Catawba river in Rock Hill. Just something you can look into if you're looking for new places to ride.

I plan on doing some trail maintenance this friday. Hope to finish the last bridge I stared and do some cleanup work. And pick my brains on what to build next

I'll be hitting Poston tomorrow (saturday) at 9:30 am if I ever quit posting on NC4x4 and go to bed...

Gonna bust out the trimmer and blower tomorrow. Got to get the trail back in shape. Anyone want to ride somewhere next weekend?

Will do. Had a great ride yesterday. Haven't ridden there in probably 3yrs. Wish that place wasn't so far away!

Not on here a lot these days but have been riding mountain bikes again. Rode Tanglewood a few times over the last month and rode at Climb works in Gatlinburg last week. May try riding at Salisbury Park friday.

What time Saturday?

Rode a lap at big leaf in Statesville this morning. Seemed like alot of up hill.

I live in Statesville and I have only ridden big leaf 2 times and that was enough for me. I appreciate the work that went into building the trail though and I am hoping the next 3 miles get better.

I either leave straight from work and ride Signal Hill if I have no time or LNSP if I have more time. Big Leaf is no longer on my radar as of right now.

I'll likely ride a charlotte area trail tomorrow afternoon. Also up for Statesville ride Saturday morning.

I'll check tomorrow morning.

I tried to kill myself yesterday afternoon, and it nearly worked:

I ran out of water ~5 miles from the end, which was no biggie, then I tried to push up a climb a few minutes later and my legs started to cramp. I worked my way out, and was really looking forward to the water fountain at the parking lot. Finally get there and they have the damn things turned off. :kaioken::handed:
I walked around the side of the building and found a hose bib, and drank some hot water out of there. Probably not the smartest thing to drink water from a random hosebib at the Whitewater center, so if I contract a mystery illness, someone please let my wife know why :D

I'm going to hit lake norman state park around 8 or 830 this morning if anyone wants to join on Super short notice
